Thinking about last year in Florence

We came across a shop that just sold Juggling equiptment...... start of a new career

Sunday morning

We now have a new vice... French baguettes  from Fairway market. We put it in the oven and serve it with melted cheese, This is one on the bad habits you could learn in France.  every morning Joe would get up early and take a walk into town and pick up a baguette,, Fairways is crunchy but not as good as the ones in Provence.

Getting ready for Spain

We leave on the 16th of december for Spain. We fly into Malaga and then drive to the apartment we rented in Torrox.. Torrox  Costa is a beach town on the Mediterranean.
The apartment is a one bedroom with a terrace overlooking the sea. We rented the apartment from the VBRO website. we have rented before from this site and have luck and once we rented a hovel. Hopefully this time we will be lucky.
The reason we chose the is area of Spain was that the weather was tempid this time of year. Sunny low 60's. We are close to the pictuesque white hill towns. The apartment rental is cheap $600 for 2 weeks. The car is a bargian. The rental is about 250 for the 2 weeks ....
We plan to take the ferry and visit Tangiers and also plan to go to Gilbralter and the Alhambra in Granada. We have really enjoyed traveling this time of year..We have been to Cortona in Italy and Florence during the Xma vacations and have enjoyed the festivals and fetes that are offered in a small towns.
We have never been to Spain and wonder what we will find. We will find great markets to purchase wines and cheeses ? Will there be a lot of christmas markets.
